SES Teams

In this radio event and the associated award program, ten teams nationwide (the number based on the 10 Funk-Kartell areas at the time) will operate under different special call signs. Of these, 8 SES have the common suffix “100FK”. NOTE: Only these 8 SES carry the (Special) S-DOK “100FK“.

Two other participating SES (with separate Special-DOK) will each commemorate their own local 100th anniversary with their own special call sign, different from the 100FK suffix. This concerns the local branch of Mittweida DOK S44, which at the same time contributed DM1ØØMW (S-DOK “100MW“) to the founding of the “Association of Funkfreunde zu Mittweida e.V.” on May 15, 1924.

From Upper Bavaria (C07), DR1ØØPE  (S-DOK “100PE“) will commemorate the beginnings of amateur radio in Ettal Monastery. The teacher and educator Father Emmanuel Haiß applied for an Audion test permit in 1924, which allowed him and his students to build receiving equipment and receive entertainment radio and the beginning of amateur radio.
